Sveva Bernardi and
Sara Radojevic were trailing 6-5 when court three went final, but they secured back-to-back sets for a dramatic victory and a point for the Panthers.
Earning the Panthers' first singles point of the season,
Zeynep Erbakan made quick work of her opponent on court three, winning 6-2 and 6-1 in straight sets. Making her singles debut on the five line, the freshman Haouas handled her business, dispatching her opponent in straight sets to put Georgia State on the brink of victory. After being pushed to a seventh point and winning a nailbiter in the first set, Radojevic did not need to break a sweat in the second. The junior blanked her opponent, 6-0, giving the Panthers the fourth match point to clinch their first victory of the season.
