ATLANTA — Senior Gabriele Datei and Freshman Arthur Attrill have been named the Sun Belt Conference Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week after going undefeated from the first line in a pair of non-conference showdowns. 

Saturday afternoon's tilt with Tennessee Tech saw Datei and Attrill face off against the No. 48 doubles team in the nation. The Panthers' top pair were pushed to the brink but outlasted their opponents, 7-5, to help Georgia State secure their first doubles point against Division I competition. 

Sunday saw the duo stay hot, as Datei and Attrill cruised to a more comfortable 6-4 win on the number one court at Kennesaw State. 

The honorees and their squad will look to capture a victory at home when they return to the GSU Clarkston Tennis Complex to face Alabama A&M on Saturday, February 14 at 1:00 p.m.
