ATLANTA — The second and final stop of their weekend road trip to Florida saw Georgia State Men's Tennis fall to Stetson in an abbreviated match by a final score of 4-1.
In doubles play, the Senior-Freshman duo of
Sota Minami and
Gustav Andersson were able to secure the narrowest of victories, defeating their counterparts from Stetson by a score of 5-4. The win on court three negated a loss on court two, making court one a tiebreaker that the Hatters would take by a score of 6-2.
Freshman
Arthur Attrill was able to secure the Panthers' lone point of the day, sweeping his singles opponent in straight sets, winning 6-4 and 6-3.
Aryan Jit Singh was able to take a set from his opponent, 6-3, but the deciding third set was called when Stetson secured their fourth match point.
