ATLANTA-- After a competitive 2024-25 season, the Panthers head to Fairhope, Ala. for the Sun Belt Championship tournament on April 14-18.
Georgia State finished the regular season ranked 158 nationally and averaging 302.8 strokes per-tournament. After competing in 10 tournaments over the course of the season, the Panthers season was highlighted by a third-place finish at the Bama Beach Bash at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Sophomore
Pariya Sanpanawat has led the Panthers through the season with a 73.37 stroke average, which finished ninth in the conference for the regular season. Sanpanawat led team in three of last four spring events, and in four events overall.
Her season was highlighted by an individual title at Edisto Island Invitational with a -5 (71-65-72—208) finish, with a middle-round six-under 65 finish to mark the lowest round on squad this year. She also scored a six-under 66 in final round of Daniel Island Invitational to tied for a first place finish at the Bama Beach Bash.
TK Kongthong has also had a remarkable freshman season, finishing second on squad with 73.63 stroke average. She led team in five of first six events this season and in six of 10 tournaments overall including four of five in fall. Her season was highlighted by an individual title at Mercer Invitational after finishing -5 (69-70-72—211).
Kongthong also finished runner-up at FIU Pat Bradley Invitational (68-72-68—208) in two top-five finishes.
