Sandy Panthers Return to Sun Belt Play

Foley, AL.- After two grueling weeks of competition, which saw meetings with eight top-20 programs, the No. 18 Georgia State beach volleyball team is set to return to conference play. Each Sun Belt Conference program will travel to Foley, Alabama to compete in mid-season SBC action. First serve is slated for Friday, March 28th and conclude Saturday, May 29.

GSU enters the weekend as the favorite to win the 2025 Sun Belt Title, and are currently 2-0 in conference play so far this season. On Friday, the Sandy Panthers will face Charleston at 1:00 p.m. ET before meeting Southern Mississippi at 3:00 p.m. Georgia State recently hosted both teams during GSU's Day of Duals event. This resulted in a 4-1 defeat of the Golden Eagles from Southern Miss and a sweep over the Charleston Cougars. On Saturday, GSU will meet UNC Wilmington at 11:00 a.m. before capping off the event with a contest against in-state foe, Mercer. The Sandys will look to maintain their success against both programs.
