Box Score CLEMSON, SC. - Georgia State fell to Clemson 5-2 on Friday morning. Despite the loss, the Panthers took one doubles match and two singles matches from the Tigers.
In doubles play,
Maria Paredes and
Francesca Miglio defeated the #75 pair in the nation on court No. 2, 6-2. The Tigers then took the doubles point with wins on courts No. 1 and 3.
Sophomore
Sara Radojevic won her second consecutive match on singles court No. 3 defeating her opponent in three sets, 6-4, 3-6, 10-7. On court No. 6, freshman
Zeynep Erbakan took a dominant 6-0, 6-2 win to give the Panthers their second point.
Ultimately, the Panthers dropped matches on the remaining singles courts, falling 5-2 to Clemson.
The women's tennis team is back on Sunday to open the season at home with a match against Kennesaw at 1:00 p.m.
