ATLANTA— Four Sandy Panthers earned Academic All-District At-Large honors for their continued success in the classroom, the College of Sports Communicators announced Tuesday afternoon.
Among these four Sandy Panthers includes
Lila Bordis,
Angel Ferary,
Bella Ferary and
Ayla Johnson.
The 2024 Academic All-District At-Large Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their performances both on the field and in the classroom.
Led by
Ayla Johnson in the classroom, the Junior finished her third year with a 3.91 overall GPA while studying public health. Johnson has earned academic honors in every semester since starting with the Panthers as a freshman.
Senior
Bella Ferary graduated with a 3.79 GPA in Criminal Justice studies. Ferary was also named to the Spring 2023 CSC All-District At-Large Team after earning academic honors in every semester at GSU.
Senior
Angel Ferary also earned her second-consecutive CSC Academic All-District At-Large honors after graduating with a 3.78 cumulative GPA in Interdisciplinary studies. Ferary has earned academic honors, including Sun Belt Commissioner's List honors, in each semester as a Panther.
Lila Bordis finished her senior year with a 3.72 GPS in interdisciplinary studies. The transfer student earned academic honors in all four semesters at Georgia State.
