ATLANTA – No. 16 Georgia State (8-3) secured a 3-0 record Wednesday during the annual Day of Duals tournament hosted at the GSU Beach Complex. Beginning with a meeting against Austin Peay, the Sandy Panthers recorded a 4-1 victory to remain undefeated in the all-time series against the Governors. GSU returned to the sand in the afternoon for a rematch with No. 15 FAU. The Sandys fell to the Owls in the season opener, 4-1. However, Georgia State edged out FAU in a 3-2 victory on home sand. The day closed with a contest against Sun Belt Conference rival, Mercer. Georgia State secured a 4-1 win over the Bears, propelling the Sandy Panthers to 2-0 in Sun Belt action.

Tournament Notes:
- Angel Ferary and Bella Ferary's win over Mercer marked their 83rd victory as a pair, which ties program history for most career wins by a pair.
- Savannah Ebarb and Destiny White continue to play a pivotal role in the Sandy Panthers' lineup, notching a 10-1 record so far in 2024
- Georgia State is currently on a six game winning streak.
- After today, the Panthers hold a 52-9 (.85) overall home record.
- Georgia State remains undefeated while facing Mercer, dating back to 2013
