ATLANTA, GA-- Angel and
Bella Ferary are the Sun Belt Conference Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week after going 4-0 at last weekend's Sun Belt Mid-Season Tournament in Huntsville, Ala., the conference announced on Wednesday afternoon.
The Ferary sisters are the winningest pair in program history, marks at 90 total wins as a pair.
The natives of Marietta, Ga., played at the top-flight throughout the weekend, defeating pairs from UNC-Wilmington, Mercer, College of Charleston, and Stephen F. Austin.
The win over Mercer marked Bella Ferary's 93rd career victory in blue and white, becoming GSU's all-time wins leader. After her monumental victory, she was named this week's Center Parc Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week.
The Ferary sisters are the second GSU pair to earn the conference honor this year. Savannah Ebarb and Destiny White were named SBC Pair of the Week after the second weekend of action.
Georgia State is hosting Diggin' Duals on April 5 and 6. The No. 15 Sandy Panthers will face FGCU, Stetson, LSU, and Southern Miss.
