Long Beach, Calif.- The No. 16 Georgia State beach volleyball team will open West coast action with a midweek outing at Long Beach State on Wednesday afternoon. The team enters the fourth week of competition on a six-dual winning streak after collecting three wins in front of a home crowd last Wednesday at the annual Day of Duals.

GSU will first face No. 17 Grand Canyon at 3:00 p.m. ET before facing host No. 9 Long Beach State at 5:30 p.m. The Sandys last faced GCU in 2023, falling 3-2. GSU last defeated the Antelopes during the opening round of the 2022 NCAA Championships. Georgia State fell to Long Beach State in 2017, marking the only meeting between the two squads. 

Destiny White and Savannah Ebarb have tallied the most wins so far for the Sandy Panthers this season, posting a 10-1 record. The pair was named the Sun Belt Pair of the Week after posting four wins at the Seminole Beach Bash. Angel Ferary and Bella Ferary continue to make their lasting mark on the program, as the seniors have secured a 9-2 record in the top flight. After compiling three wins during last week's competition iin Atlanta, the pair tied the program record for most victories by a pair with 83. Tomorrow, the twins will look to secure the program title. Newcomer Aree Keller has made an immediate impact, partnering with Lila Bordis in the second flight. The duo has collected eights wins.
