ATLANTA-- After winning the last four straight matches, Georgia State women's soccer clinches the No. 5 spot in the Sun Belt Championship tournament in Foley Alabama on Nov. 4-9, the conference announced Thursday night.
This year's tournament appearance marks the seventh-consecutive Sun Belt Championship tournament appearance for the Panthers under the leadership of head coach
Ed Joyce.
Georgia State will face No. 4 seed Old Dominion on Monday, Nov. 4 at 8:00 pm ET. Georgia State and Old Dominion fought to a 2-2 draw in the regular season on Oct. 13. Old Dominion is fighting for its third consecutive Sun Belt Championship title.
If the Panthers win the first round of Sun Belt Championship Play, Georgia State will face the winner of the James Madisn vs. ULM match in the semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 8:00 p.m. ET
