EDISTO ISLAND, S.C.-- Pariya Sanpanawat wins the Edisto Island Invitational to place the Panthers tied for third overall on Tuesday afternoon.
Sanpanawat finished five under par to lead the way for the Panthers, posting 71(E), 65(-6) and 72(+1) across three rounds. The sophomore marked her second individual win of her college career and set the second-lowest round of her career in round two of the tournament with 65 (-5).
TK Kongthong finished second on the Panthers' leaderboard and sixth overall in the tournament, scoring three over par. Kongthong finished with scores of 73(+2), 70(-1) and 73(+2) through 54 holes.

Madison Rookard and
Thin Wai Khaing also participated in the team tournament for the Panthers. Pak finished third on the Panthers' leaderboard, scoring 80(+9), 79(+8) and 73(+2) in the tournament.
Tha Panther are back in action Oct. 20-22 at the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Tennessee, at the Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tn.
