No. 14 Sandy Panthers Announced as Top Seed For Inaugural SBC Beach Volleyball Championship

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.— No. 14-ranked Georgia State beach volleyball was announced as the top seed for the 2023 Sun Belt Conference Beach Volleyball Championship set for April 27-29 at the John Hunt Park Sand Volleyball Complex in Huntsville, Ala. 

Serving as the conference's inaugural beach volleyball championship event, the 2023 Sun Belt Beach Volleyball Championship features a three-day, double-elimination format to determine the champion. The winner of the Sun Belt Championship will earn an automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship. 

All eight Sun Belt Beach Volleyball programs will compete in the event – Georgia State, Coastal Carolina, Charleston, ULM, Mercer, Southern Miss, Stephen F. Austin and UNCW. Dual matches for the tournament will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with live stats available to fans.
