Beach Volleyball to Close Out Regular Season with Conference Battle in Conway

ATLANTA— The Georgia State beach volleyball team will close out the regular season with a dual match facing Conference USA opponent Coastal Carolina on Saturday, April 23. The match will be hosted at Coastal Carolina Beach Volleyball Complex in Conway, S.C. as head coach Beth Van Fleet and the Panthers look to add an additional conference victory to the team's resume nearing C-USA tournament play.

No. 15 GSU finished 3-0 in competition at the Palmetto Invitational last weekend. The Panthers moved to 21-11 for the season knocking off ranked opponents in No. 20 Florida Gulf Coast as well as host No. 18 South Carolina, and notching a victory facing College of Charleston.

Saturday will offer the Panthers the opportunity to secure a final regular season victory before traveling to John Hunt Park Sand Volleyball Complex in Huntsville, Ala. for the 2022 Conference USA Beach Volleyball Championship Tournament beginning April 28. More information on the conference championship will be posted on the web and to the team's social media leading up to the tournament in Huntsville.

GSU has defeated C-USA foe Coastal Carolina in a shutout, 5-0, twice this spring. The Sandy Chants will host the Sandy Panthers with a match time set for 10 a.m. ET.

Information on live stats and streaming will be posted the weekend of the match. Follow the Sandy Panthers on Twitter and Instagram (@GSUBeachVb) for continued coverage.
