No. 11 Sandy Panthers to Continue Spring Campaign at North Florida Invite

ATLANTA- Coming off a split in tournament competition at the Stetson Beach Bash, the Georgia State beach volleyball team travels on the road this weekend to compete at the North Florida Invite in Jacksonville, Fla. With the 2-2 finish in DeLand, Fla. last weekend that improved the Panthers to 12-9 on the season, No. 11 GSU looks to add to its win total in the team's sixth tournament appearance of the spring.

GSU's weekend in Florida was highlighted by Angel Ferary and Bella Ferary finishing yet another undefeated weekend at 4-0 as the pair defeated opponents in the Panthers' third and fourth flights. Moving to 19-2 while teaming together, the duo garnered another Conference USA Pair of the Week nomination for the performance.

GSU will enter tournament competition on Friday, April 1 with a rematch against C-USA opponent No. 10 Florida Atlantic at 8 a.m. ET. GSU previously saw defeat, 1-4, facing FAU at the Stetson Beach Bash on March 26.

Friday's second outing will feature a matchup with host North Florida at noon ET. GSU remains unbeaten when facing UNF in tournament play at 11-0 all-time.

The Panthers will return to competition on Saturday, April 2 for the second day of tournament play with a dual against No. 18 Pepperdine at 8 a.m. ET. GSU will be seeking its first-ever win against the Waves.

GSU will close out the North Florida Invite with a rematch against No. 4 Florida State at 2 p.m. ET. The Panthers last battled FSU at the Horned Frog Challenge in Fort Worth on March 4 and came up short, 1-4.

Duals will be hosted by North Florida and held at the Cooper Beach Volleyball Complex in Jacksonville, Fla. Complete tournament coverage can be found here
