ATLANTA - The Panther Insider Podcast Driven by Ford returns for Episode 65 as we welcome Georgia State Beach Volleyball Coach Beth Van Fleet to the podcast. Coach Van Fleet joins the Voice of the Panthers Dave Cohen to talk about her team's success this year and what it was like to be a student-athlete at Georgia State.

Van Fleet, a long time beach volleyball professional and former GSU star, became the head coach of the Georgia State beach volleyball team prior to the 2013-14 season. She served as the assistant coach for the inaugural team in 2012-13. During her tenure at Georgia State, Van Fleet has twice earned the GSU SAAC Coach of the Year Award (2016, 2018), and was named the 2016 CCSA Coach of the Year.

Van Fleet has led the Panthers to five 20-win seasons. During the 2021 season Van Fleet's squad accumulated 23 wins after coming off a shortened 2020 campaign. Van Fleet reach the 150 win mark on March 19, 2021 when GSU defeated Spring Hill. In 2019 the Sandy Panthers earned 24 total victories. In 2018 GSU tied a program record with 22 regular season victories. The 2017 season saw Van Fleet coach Delaney Rohan and Chelsea Ross to the CCSA Pair of the Year Award, and the Panthers to a 21-win season.
