Men’s Golf Announces Signing of Three Top Georgian Junior Golfers

ATLANTAGeorgia State men's golf coach Chad Wilson announced the signing of Georgia junior golfers Andrew Garger, Connor Macmillan, and Hunter Smith on Monday.

"We are excited to announce the newest Panthers to our program," Wilson said. "These young men have all the tools to become the next successful men's golfers here at Georgia State University."

Andrew Garger
"Andrew was a player that we went after late in his process but were super fortunate he and his family gave us the opportunity to show them what Georgia State has to offer," Wilson said. "He's not only one of the best players in his class, but he's one of the best individuals, as well. Adding an elite player like Andrew makes our team immediately better."

Connor Macmillan
"What a great day to welcome Connor, Irene, and Gordon to the #PantherFamily," Wilson said. Connor is super talented on the golf course, but it's his ambitions off the course that jumped out to us during the recruiting process. Connor is a well-rounded individual who carries a 4.0 GPA and was a multi-sport athlete. He's exactly what we want in our student-athletes, and we are thrilled for him to officially become a Panther.
