As part of a series honoring our senior class, today we take a look at the four seniors and the graduate transfer, who have each earned countless victories and honors as Sandy Panthers.
Here is a quick reflection on their careers as we honor them for Senior Day.
Maddie Gordon
Over the past four years, Maddie Gordon has tallied 40 victories while in a GSU uniform. The Texas native hit her stride her junior year with partner Becky Tresham. The duo notched a 22-10 record, one of the best records on the team that season. They defeated several ranked opponents including No. 2 Southern California and CCSA foe, No. 4 LSU. The pair went undefeated at the 2019 Gamecock Grand Slam, earning CCSA Pair of the Week honors. This year the pair was off to a stellar season, defeating three top-20 opponents, No. 7 Stetson, No. 10 FIU, and No. 18 FAU. In the classroom, Gordon was named to the Dean's List three times and finished her college career on the President's List.
Georgia Johnson
Georgia Johnson has recorded 71 wins in four years, the fifth most in program history. The political science major began making an immediate impact upon her arrival to campus. In the 2017 season Johnson registered 21 wins. She was named to the CCSA All-Tournament Team after going 3-1 at the tournament with Olivia Stasevich, including a victory over No. 7 LSU. Each full season she recorded 20 wins, and during this year's shortened season she was on track to do it again while primarily playing in the top flight. During her career at State, she has also been named to the President's List five times and she was named to the 2019 CCSA All-Academic Team.

Her impressive 4-0 CCSA Tournament run included victories over Tulane, South Carolina, FAU, and No. 3 Florida State, earning her a spot on the CCSA All-Tournament Team. This season she and partner Kelly Dorn notched the most wins on the team with 12. The duo dominated, defeating 11 of their 12 opponents in straight sets. The Indiana native ended her college career on the President's List for her third time.

She immediately was a force to be reckoned with earning 18 wins and being named to the CCSA All-Tournament Team in her freshman campaign.
