"Our City / Our Time" is a full-length, film documentary that provides a comprehensive look into the first ten seasons of Georgia State Football. The documentary includes 14 original interviews (complete list below) with current and former players, coaches, athletics staff, and university administration who each provide a unique look into the evolution of the program. Filming was conducted everywhere from New Orleans to South Florida, as well as in Atlanta at Georgia State Stadium and on Georgia State campus.

The documentary opens with a look back into the process of starting a football team from scratch as told by a few of the people that played a major role; everyone from Georgia State Football's first head coach, Bill Curry, to Georgia State University President, Mark Becker. The documentary then revisits the excitement of the first season and follows the progress of Georgia State Football on the field, as the program went from FCS to FBS, to their first bowl game, and finally their first bowl win. The second half of the documentary opens with an in-depth look into the acquisition of Turner Field and its conversion into Georgia State Stadium as well as the importance of the city of Atlanta. One of the highlights of the documentary was catching up with former players, many of whom are now playing in the NFL. A trip to South Florida with Albert Wilson as he conducted his annual "Albert Wilson Youth Skills Camp" was preceded by a visit to New Orleans to catch up with former Panther teammates Wil Lutz and Ulrick John. The piece closes with a look into the future of both Georgia State Football and Georgia State University.

Our City / Our Time is a commemoration of all the moments experienced during the first decade of football at Georgia State. In a year where college football is celebrating 150 years of competition, Georgia State is celebrating 10. This documentary captures the grit, determination, and the innovation of a football program and a university that have made much progress during the last decade, but who are constantly looking at ways to push forward into a better and brighter future.

Our City / Our Time exists as a point of pride for all those who have been a part of the first decade of football at Georgia State, but it is also an invitation for others to join the Panther Family- an invitation for students, alumni, university staff, the city of Atlanta (Our City), for anyone.

Go Panthers!
