Georgia State Outlasted by UNF

*Georgia State fell 4-3 to UNF in Jacksonville, Fla., Sunday morning.
*Eva Chivu and Damira Muminovic both recorded wins in the match
*Georgia State will play on the road for the sixth consecutive week this upcoming Friday.

JACKSONVILLE, FLA..- The Georgia State women's tennis team dropped a 4-3  decision to UNF in a non-conference match at the UNF Tennis Complex. 

Damira Muminovic and Denisa Gheorghe were neck and neck with the number two pair from UNF when the Ospreys clinched the doubles point with a 6-0 win on court three and and a 6-4 win on court one. 

GSU fell behind 2-0 as UNF picked up a quick win on court five. Chivu would narrow the gap to 2-1 with a 6-3, 7-5 win court one. Damira Muminovic cruised to a 6-3, 6-3 win on court two, tying the match. Stanesu rallied to a victory on court four, but UNF would clinch the match with a win on court three.

With the loss the Panthers are now 2-7 on the season. GSU will hit the road again this upcoming Friday for a match at Liberty. This will mark the sixth consecutive week on the road for the Panthers.
