Beach Volleyball Completes Fall Slate

The Panthers Finish Second in Their Final Contest of 2019

Huntsville, Ala.- Georgia State women's beach volleyball participated in their final fall exhibition over the weekend. The Panthers finished second out of four teams winning 55 percent of their matches.

GSU used seven different pairings on the outing as the Panthers faced South Carolina, UAB, and LSU. This fall marked the first action in blue and white for Elise Saga and Jessica Maxson, who both added to the Georgia State win column over the weekend.

"The fall season provided us with four opportunities to travel and compete against other universities," said head coach Beth Van Fleet. "From the first to the last exhibition, we have grown as individuals, pairs, and as a team. Now we will reflect on our performance and build upon our foundation."
