Fans Invited to Free Open Practice on Aug. 20

ATLANTA -- Georgia State students, alumni and fans are invited to get their first look at the 2022 Panther football team at an open practice on the evening of Saturday, Aug. 20 at Center Parc Stadium.

Coming off a school-record eight victories and their third straight bowl berth, the Panthers are preparing for their Sept. 3 season opener at South Carolina (7:30 p.m. on ESPN+). One week later, head coach Shawn Elliott's squad that returns 18 starters will open the 2022 home slate by hosting North Carolina at 12 noon at Center Parc Stadium (ESPNU).

The open practice is being held in conjunction with the annual Cinema Under the Stars, and all are invited to watch the movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on the Center Parc Stadium video board following the practice.

All fans will enter at Gate 8. Gates will open at 6 p.m., with the practice beginning at 7 p.m. The movie will start at approximately 9:15 p.m.

Admission is free, but a ticket is required for entry. Visit GeorgiaStateSports.com/Cinema to claim your free ticket.

Free parking is available in the Green Lot. Concessions will be on sale.

Season and single-game tickets for all six home games at Center Parc Stadium are on sale now by visiting GeorgiaStateSports.com/Tix or calling 404-413-4020 during business hours.
