ATLANTA -- Georgia State track and field standout Lotte Meyberg was named the Hercules Tires Strong Student-Athlete of the Week after collecting two individual titles at the 2020 Sun Belt Indoor Track and Field Championships, helping the Panthers to a fifth-place finish. It is the seventh time during the 2019-20 school year the Buettelborn, Germany, native has earned the weekly honor.

Meyberg tied for Top Meet Scorer with 20 points after winning both the 5000m on Monday and the 3000m on Tuesday. In the 5000m, she recorded a personal best time of 16:49.36. Meyberg now has three Sun Belt track and field titles along with the 2019 Sun Belt Individual Cross Country Championship.

Meyberg and the Panthers will compete again later this month.
